ASIAN MARINE SERVICES PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (ASIMAR) is one of Thailand's leading shipbuilding and ship repair companies, established in 1983. The shipyard is strategically located on the Chao Phraya River in Samut Prakan province, approximately 15 km south of Bangkok. ASIMAR is publicly listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and has delivered over 300 vessels since its founding, including naval combatants, patrol boats, tugboats, barges, tankers, and offshore support vessels.
The shipyard occupies approximately 100,000 square meters of waterfront land with 300 meters of river frontage and operates two floating docks. The facility is equipped with overhead cranes up to 50 tonnes, a 240-tonne slipway system, and extensive covered workshop areas. ASIMAR provides comprehensive services including newbuilding, ship repair and conversion, steel fabrication, and marine engineering solutions for both commercial and military clients throughout Southeast Asia.
ASIMAR holds certifications from major classification societies including Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, ABS, and ClassNK. The company also maintains ISO 9001:2015 quality management and ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certifications, as well as OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management certification.
