ASMAR Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Company is an autonomous State-owned company, whose main activity is to efficiently satisfy the needs for repairs, maintenance and building of ships for domestic and international shipowners.

Located in the Southern Cone of Latin America (Chile) and in the highly protected Bayof Concepcionon the Eastern Pacific Oceancoastline, ASMAR Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Company has been a regional leader in shiprepairing field for more than 100 years. This has been achieved by a combination of excellent facilities and the remarkable adaptability, vigor, skill, innovative solutions and efficiency demonstrated by its skilled and competent employees, who have reached world-class levels of competitiveness.

The company is organized in three industrial plants / shipyards, namely:

1. ASMAR Talcahuano Shipyard

Located in theBayofConcepcion, Talcahuano Shipyard is the main shipyard of ASMAR. Possessing complete facilities and highly skilled staff, the shipyard can provide qualitative services for D/D & Repairs of vessels up to 96,000 DWT and newbuilding of vessels up to 50,000 DWT.

2. ASMAR Valparaiso Shipyard

Valparaiso Shipyard is the oldest facility of ASMAR, located in the Port of Valparaiso only 60 minutes away from San AntonioPort, and is specialized in the afloat repairs & maintenance of vessels.

ASMAR Magallanes Shipyard

Chile

ASMAR Magallanes Shipyard is located in Punta Arenas, Chile, in the Magallanes region at the southern tip of South America. It is the southernmost shipyard facility operated by ASMAR (Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada) and one of the most southerly ship repair yards in the world.

The shipyard serves vessels operating in the Strait of Magellan, the Drake Passage, and Antarctic waters. Its strategic far-south location provides essential repair and maintenance support for fishing fleets, research vessels, and commercial shipping navigating the challenging waters of southern Patagonia.

ASMAR Talcahuano Shipyard is the main facility of ASMAR (Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada), located in Talcahuano, Chile. As a major ship repair and shipbuilding complex, it serves as the primary hub for ASMAR's operations along the Chilean coast.

The shipyard offers comprehensive newbuilding, repair, and conversion services for both naval and commercial vessels. Talcahuano's sheltered bay location and well-developed industrial infrastructure make it a key maritime facility on the Pacific coast of South America.

ASMAR Valparaiso Shipyard is an ASMAR (Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada) facility located in Valparaiso, Chile's main port city on the central Pacific coast. The yard benefits from Valparaiso's status as one of the busiest ports in South America.

The shipyard provides repair and maintenance services for vessels calling at the Port of Valparaiso. Its location in Chile's primary commercial port enables efficient service for the high volume of commercial shipping traffic along the Pacific coast of South America.
