COSCO SHIPPING HEAVY INDUSTRY CO.,LTD., operates five (5) subsidiary ship-repair dedicated yards which are located in the most important sites along China's coast line, equipped with docks ranging from DWT 50,000 to over 300,000, and 15km long excellent deep-water coastline.

COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) Co., Ltd., “CHI Dalian” is the leading Shipyard for ship repairs and conversions in northern China, and one of the core enterprises in China's coastal heavy industry field. It is located in the very modern city of Dalian and it specializes in Shiprepairing & complicated conversion projects, as well as newbuildings and offshore projects. Shipyard has an annual repair & conversion capacity of more than 230 vessels, covering mainstream vessel types such as bulk carriers, general cargo carriers, product/chemical tankers, asphalt carriers, etc. It has an annual FPSO conversion capacity of 2 to 3 projects, known as the “Top FPSO Conversion Shipyard in the World”. The shipyard operates three floating docks and one dry dock, with total docking capacity of 610,000 tons, and sufficient repair and conversion manpower, including 1,500 Steel workers, 1,000 pipe fitters, 360 scaffolding workers and 240 sandblasting guns.
